About the Role
Sochi Foods Limited is looking for an ambitious individual with proven experience in maintenance management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting. Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing systems and fleet management.
You will be responsible for all activities related to the repair and replacement of equipment and facilities that support our organization's operations.
• Plan and coordinate all maintenance activities in the facilities including analyzing equipment needs, reliability issues, developing preventive/predictive maintenance programs
• Inspect equipment and facilities regularly to identify issues and implement preventive maintenance measures
• Check electrical and hydraulic systems of buildings to ensure functionality
• Plan and oversee all repair and installation activities
• Coach, mentor, train and develop maintenance employees to meet current and future business requirements
• Monitor equipment inventory and place orders when necessary
• Manage the maintenance expenses by ensuring best practices in the industry
• Collaborate with other departments to support their maintenance needs and coordinate facility improvements.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests and ensure timely resolution of issues.
• Build an upkeep long term relationships with contractors and service providers
• Keep maintenance logs and report on daily activities
• Ensure compliance with health and safety policies
• Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies in maintenance management.
Requirements
Degree or Higher National Diploma in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering or similar relevant field
Proven experience in maintenance management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting for a minimum of 5 years
Hands on experience in planning maintenance operations
Solid understanding of technical aspects of plumbing, carpentry, electrical systems etc.
Proficiency in maintenance management software and tools
Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and safety.
Applicable knowledge of facilities machines and equipment
Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
Outstanding organizational and time management skills
Valid Nigeria Certified Maintenance Operations Management Professional (CMOMP) will be considered an advantage
