Marketing Manager
About the Role
The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and executing strategic marketing plans to attract potential customers and retain existing ones. This role requires a proactive and creative professional who can lead brand awareness campaigns, market research, product promotion, and digital marketing activities.

Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with company goals.

Lead brand positioning and ensure consistent messaging across all marketing channels.

Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for growth.

Identify potential new markets and create a plan to enter those markets

Plan and execute Company’s product launches, promotional campaigns, and advertising initiatives.

Oversee all content creation for digital, print, and social media platforms.

Monitor and report on campaign performance metrics and ROI.

Manage and maintain relationships with media agencies, vendors, and key stakeholders.

Coordinate with the sales team to align marketing efforts with sales goals.

Organize trade shows, exhibitions, and in-store promotional activities.

Develop customer feedback systems and incorporate insights into marketing strategies.

Stay updated with market trends and incorporate best practices into marketing operations.

Brainstorm fresh advertising ideas with senior management
Requirements

A Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related field.

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in marketing, preferably within the FMCG or food industry.

Proven track record of successful marketing plans and campaigns.

Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Proficiency in digital marketing, SEO/SEM, content creation, and email marketing.

Hands-on experience with marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, Canva, HubSpot, etc.)

Ability to manage budgets, timelines, and multiple projects.

Creative and innovative mindset with a passion for branding.

Strong interpersonal and team management skills.

Knowledge of consumer behavior and market dynamics in the Nigerian market.

Professional qualification in National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (NIMN), the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), or similar would be an added advantage.
